Veto Day: Oct. 10, 2024 ~ General Election: Nov. 5, 2024
"I have known Maureen Mooney as a teacher, Dean of School, and State Representative. In each position she has led with courage and made the needs of her students and constituents her first priority. Maureen has positively impacted hundreds of students, including me, and become an important community resource. Maureen believes deeply in education, and even taught a beloved New Hampshire History class.
I have witnessed first hand how her hard work and dedication in Concord have made her one of the most important voices in the House of Representatives. I am proud to be a former student of Maureen’s and I feel lucky to have such a strong champion for Merrimack fighting for us in Concord."
- Allison Sullivan, Merrimack resident
"The town of Merrimack is very fortunate to have Rep Maureen Mooney as one of our State Representatives.
After losing our daughter Elizabeth to a horrific accident, we wanted to make a difference in the lives of others. Rep Mooney drafted a bill that would accomplish exactly what we envisioned.
Rep Mooney helped us during a family tragedy. We are forever grateful for her compassion and dedication in making HB 279 (the Elizabeth Croke Law) a reality."
-David and Lynne Croke, Merrimack residents
"Maureen has been an invaluable asset to Merrimack as one of our state representatives. This has been a tumultuous couple of years and she has been instrumental in helping to successfully steer the state boat in the right direction. Thank you for your service to the town and I hope it continues."
-Nancy Harrington, Merrimack Town Councilor
"Rep. Mooney is a legislative superstar. Few legislators approach legislative decisions with such thoroughness, commitment and insight. I am exceedingly pleased with her work on my committee and the contribution she makes on behalf of the people of her community and New Hampshire."
-Rep. Tracy Emerick (R-Hampton)
Chairman, Division I House Finance Committee
"The Honorable Maureen Mooney has served three terms with me in the New Hampshire House of Representatives.
She was a conscientious and dedicated State Representative and her priorities were always her community and her constituents.
Maureen served in various House leadership positions because of her professionalism, knowledge and respect of her colleagues, but never forgot her obligations and commitment to Merrimack.
It was an honor to have served with her, and Merrimack will be fortunate to have an experienced well respected individual return to the State House.
I ask you, and urge you, to support and vote for Maureen Mooney for Merrimack State Representative.
Thank you,
State Representative
Bob L'Heureux,
Merrimack, New Hampshire"
"Maureen Mooney is one of the best you will ever meet. Integrity, professional, personable, extremely intelligent and works for us with all her heart. So happy she is back in the game, has my vote!"
- Sandra Gausch, Merrimack resident
"Never having had a passport or driver's license, at the age of 74, I decided I needed a state issued non-driver's ID card. One of my documents was not acceptable. My husband asked a State Senator for help. She said there was nothing she could do. He then explained my problem to State Representative Maureen Mooney, who then went to work on it. With the backing of other State Representatives, who had constituents with similar problems.
On July 14, 2008 because of the work of prime sponsor Representative Maureen Mooney, HB 901 was signed into law and I was able to get my ID and so were many other people."
- Josephine Plant, former Merrimack resident
"When my daughter was turning 15 1/2 and getting ready to take driver's ed, Maureen Mooney was the only Rep I contacted that returned my call asking about how to obtain a driver's ed book for her to read. I always remembered that. Thank you, Maureen."
